October Update

Busy Times Ahead

Fair Trade Conference

October 26-28, GBPAN will be traveling to Chicago to attend the Fair Trade Campaign Conference.  We will be networking with Fair Traders, learning about building partnerships, and how to engage the church to become part of the solution of labor trafficking.  We are grateful to Ryan McDonnell withBoston Faith and Justice Network , and for Fair Trade USA for making our participation possible.  We are looking forward to returning with new ideas and sharing them with you.

Gordon Conwell CUME

GBPAN is working with Ana Valverde on a  group presentation on Human Trafficking for her “Christian Ethics & Social Issues” class. The presentation will be held at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary (Boston Campus) in  Roxbury on 11/17.  The presentation will include general information, prayer, statistics, scriptures, and church engagement.  A survivor will share as part of the presentation.  Also, the group will be fasting and praying as part of preparation. They will be donating to a local ministry as a response, and even including their churches!  This is truly an answered prayer! We are grateful to see God moving on the hearts of His people! Thank you Ana!  Glory to God!

Ongoing work with PureSpring Institute

Together with Pastor Kathleen Verna, GBPAN is developing a curriculum that will teach about  human trafficking, prayer, and the spiritual battle including spiritual mapping.  As part of the Prophetic Paradigms  course,  the prophetic and apostolic will learn what it means to be part of the solution and what that looks like.  Their will be assignments and activations regarding spiritual mapping.  Informed Intercession by George Otis Jr. is being used as a reference. If you are interested in learning more about what PureSpring Institute has to offer go here.  If you would like to learn more about how you can get involved in GBPAN’s spiritual mapping initiative please send an email to gbpan2012@gmail.com
