Strength and Salvation

Protection, Freedom & Justice

  • Psalm 82:4 Rescue the weak and the needy; deliver them from the hand of the wicked
  • Psalm 103:6 The LORD works vindication and justice for all who are oppressed.
  • Psalm 146:7 who executes justice for the oppressed; who gives food to the hungry. The LORD sets the prisoners free

Hope and Healing

  • Psalm 40:1-2 I waited patiently for the LORD; he inclined to me and heard my cry. He drew me up from the desolate pit, out of the miry bog, and set my feet upon a rock, making my steps secure.
  • Jeremiah 30:17 For I will restore health to you, and your wounds I will heal, says the LORD, because they have called you an outcast: ‘It is Zion, for whom no one cares!’
  • Jeremiah 31:17 There is hope for your future, says the LORD, and your children shall come back to their own country.

For the Traffickers

Conviction, Repentance and Salvation

  • Isaiah 55:7 let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts; let him return to the LORD, that he may have mercy on him, and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.
  • Romans 5:6-8 While we were still weak, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly. Why, one will hardly die for a righteous man–though perhaps for a good man one will dare even to die. But God shows his love for us in that while we were yet sinners Christ died for us.
  • 2 Timothy 2:25 correcting his opponents with gentleness. God may perhaps grant that they will repent and come to know the truth,

Criminal Networks to be Dismantled

  • Psalm 7:9 O let the evil of the wicked come to an end, but establish thou the righteous, thou who triest the minds and hearts, thou righteous God.
  • Psalm 37:17 For the arms of the wicked shall be broken; but the LORD upholds the righteous.

  • Matthew 5:13-14 “You are the salt of the earth; but if salt has lost its taste, how shall its saltness be restored? It is no longer good for anything except to be thrown out and trodden under foot by men. “You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hid.
  • Matthew 16: 18 And I tell you, you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the powers of death shall not prevail against it.

Advocates and Laborers to Emerge

  • Psalm 94:16 Who rises up for me against the wicked? Who stands up for me against evildoers?

Against Perversion

The Reality of Trafficking is Unveiled

For Strategies To Raise Awareness

  • Psalm 25:4 Make me to know thy ways, O LORD; teach me thy paths
  • Prov. 3:5-6 Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not rely on your own insight. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.
  • Isaiah 55:9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.

For People to be Stirred to Action

  • Isaiah 58:6-7 “Is not this the fast that I choose: to loose the bonds of wickedness, to undo the thongs of the yoke, to let the oppressed go free, and to break every yoke? 7 Is it not to share your bread with the hungry, and bring the homeless poor into your house; when you see the naked, to cover him, and not to hide yourself from your own flesh?
  • James 1:22 But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.
  • James 2:16-17 and one of you says to them, “Go in peace, be warmed and filled,” without giving them the things needed for the body, what does it profit? So faith by itself, if it has no works, is dead.
